This simple, smart thread kit is cleverly disguised as a colorful ribbon. Aren't those tiny little spools such a waste of space and material? Instead of toting an awkward plastic sewing kit around, just bring this and a couple of needles. Easily pull the cotton thread you need from the ribbon. Looks like there's just about every color you'd need in there. Could double as a bracelet until you've taken a bunch of threads out. From Germany.

this is so cool--my mom gave me one of these years ago. it's much handier than little spools or tags of cardboard. and the thread doesn't tangle, either. just get hold of the color of your choice and pull.
